DISTRICT 1: (Luxury Items) The finer things in life may not always be necessary, but they can be appreciated nonetheless. Then again, sometimes the best things in life aren't physical things.

DISTRICT 2: (Masonry) Peacekeeper or stonemason, are you keeping the law by any cost, or being rock steady for another?

DISTRICT 3: (Technology and Mechanics) Even the poorer districts have their share of electronics and gadgets. Sometimes they're a help, and other times a hindrance.

DISTRICT 4: (Fishing) Patience is key when it comes to fishing. Have you got it, and the skill to get what you're after?

DISTRICT 5: (Power) Is it a good thing or a bad thing when the power is down? Or is there another kind of power that's key right now?

DISTRICT 6: (Transportation) Everyone's going somewhere. Sometimes it takes a car or a plane to get there, and other times the place you want to be is just down the street, or even just down the hallway.

DISTRICT 7: (Lumber) It can be a long wait before trees are ready to cut down. You've been waiting for something for a long time too.

DISTRICT 8: (Textiles) Clothes can be many things. A simple necessity. A luxury. Something to be enjoyed. Some make a statement, or are for specific occasions. Are you getting dressed (or undressed) for a reason?

DISTRICT 9: (Grain) Pita bread or Peeta bread? Or do you prefer your grain in liquid form instead?

DISTRICT 10: (Livestock) Friend, food, or fur coat?

DISTRICT 11: (Agriculture) Time to live off the land, or at least enjoy the great outdoors, whether it's gardening, picnicking, or taking a moment to do a bit of hunting.

DISTRICT 12: (Coal Mining) Coal can turn into pearls! Okay, no, it can't, but with enough pressure they can turn into diamonds. Good things can come out of hard situations, and some come out stronger for what they've survived.

DISTRICT 13: (Nuclear Weapons) Everything has gone to shit. Time for those fight or flight responses to kick in. Do you bunker down or face the conflict head on?

THE CAPITOL: It's player's choice because in the Capitol you can have just about anything.

[He's not thrilled with her chasing the fish off, but he can't really blame her. Peeta's efforts are hopeless and it's only a few seconds later before Finnick pulls it from the water. Instead of watching and feeling the stab of bitterness again, the boy with the bread watches the frown of the girl in front of him. They're not exactly friends, but they both know what it's like not to control your own mind.

He regards her for a moment, staring, and then smiles lightly when it clicks into place out of sheer pride.] It reminds you of the Games. That's why you don't like it.

[The smile makes her shift uncomfortably though, wrapping one arm around herself, her hand clasping her upper arm. Or maybe it's because of what he says. Probably both.]

I don't want to kill anybody. [Her face screws up as the screams come back again, and she presses her hands to her ear, shaking her head like that'll make them go away]

[The hijacking makes it difficult to know what's right and wrong to say, but Peeta's still sharp and aware enough to know when he's completely overstepped. He moves forward slowly, his artificial leg more difficult to move in the sand and water, before reaching up to try to gently touch her shoulder.]

It's safe here. Finnick's here. [He turns to point at Finnick, who has thankfully not noticed Peeta upsetting her yet.] We don't have to kill anyone.

No-- [She flinches away when he touches her, but almost instinctively her gaze follows where he's pointing, to Finnick. Finnick, who is enjoying himself, catching fish with Katniss. Finnick, who doesn't need to have his afternoon ruined by comforting his crazy wife. Not, she knows, that he would think of it like that. But that doesn't mean it isn't true.

So she bites her lip on the sounds that want to escape her, breathing slowly. It takes her a while and a lot of staring at Finnick before the screams finally subside in her head, and she can let her hands drop.]

Not yet. [Even after all that, she remembers what Peeta said. She doesn't believe it]

[When Annie flinches, Peeta's arms immediately tense. A surge of adrenaline and panic bursts into his system, ready for combat or murder or whatever it is he's meant to be doing in response to such fear. Instead, rational thought returns and he simply forces his arms stiffly to his sides, taking a step back and away from her. He watches her watch Finnick, wishing he had that. Wishing that Katniss calmed his mind instead of provoked it.]

Not yet. [He agrees, because it's foolish to think they'll never have to.]
